This vacation trip is designed for RV travel picking up an RV in Salt Lake City and traveling to Yellowstone, Teton area and back. The average mileage round trip is approximately 800 miles and can take between 5 to 14 days depending on your activities scheduled.

Access RV is your starting place to great weekend recreation in our Late model motorhomes and travel trailers. Make sure you book your RV first as those are the first to go. Then you’ll be able to get your other reservations and plans.

Mad River Boat Trips is right across the road from Access RV
Since 1963, Jackson Hole Whitewater has been providing the opportunity for many to have an adventure on the river. They offer Whitewater and Scenic Float Trips beginning the first of May through October. You can book online or by phone.
Jackson has tons to see and do. Town Square has an “old fashion shootout” Mon-Sat during the Summer @ 6:15pm. There is unique shopping, plays, Elk Refuge, as well as great float trips or white water rafting tours. Also, don’t forget to stop by the Bar J Wranglers Chuckwagon supper and cowboy show.

Bar J Chuckwagon Suppers to Teton Village is 5.7 Miles. 10 Minute drive.
Nestled at the base of the Grand Tetons is Teton Village. Here you can ride the Tram “Big Red” where you’ll gain 4,139 in 9 Minute for an experience of a lifetime. Besides the incredible view, there are also some awesome hiking trails. Here you will feel you’re on top of the world.
Located in northwestern Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park preserves a spectacular landscape rich with majestic mountains, pristine lakes and extraordinary wildlife. The park’s world-renowned scenery attracts nearly four million visitors per year.
This RV park is a favorite for all travelers. The campsite is in a beautiful forest area with access to electric and water hook-ups. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings. There are 22 restrooms with running water and flushing toilets. Showers are also available for an extra fee at the Colter Bay Village Launderette.

One of the top RV destinations in the country, Yellowstone provides a family experience that will be forever remembered. The park has lots of campgrounds, but only one (Fishing Bridge) campground has water, sewer and electricity hook-ups for RVs. Reservations for 4 of the main campgrounds and Fishing Bridge RV Park are accepted on the phone at 1-866-GEYSERLAND (439-7375) or 307.344.7311. Once inside the Park there are many things to see and do. Too many to list here. But there will be directional signs to the various wonders such as geysers, paint pots, hot springs, boiling river, water falls and more. You can spend many days exploring the wonders of Yellowstone.It is wise to purchase the annual National Parks Pass ($80) (http://store.usgs.gov/pass/index.html) which gives unlimited access to ALL National Parks nationwide.

Yellowstone Entrance to Grant Village Campground is 21 Miles. 30 Minute drive.
Grant Village Campground, which is only 40 Miles away from Colter Bay, is a very relaxing campground located right in the midst of the trees. It is also next to West Thumb Geyser Basin which has also been laid out with boardwalks and a trails that takes you fascinating views that are a bit unique since you need to hike in to see them. Grant Village Campground to Old Faithful is 22.3 Miles. 33 Minute drive.
This is just as the name implies. The step-like terraces form as heated water moves along the Morris-Mammoth Fault. The hot water carries dissolved calcium and bicarbonate to the surface of the terraces where pressure lessens. Carbon dioxide then escapes as gas and the carbonate combines with calcium to precipitate as travertine.

Grand Targhee is a luxurious resort that allows you to stay in a high mountain setting yet still have quick access to amenities such as restaurants, shopping, skiing, mountain activities, chair-lift rides and guided all-season tours.
